Fall Conference: Transformation Through Partnership: Connect, Build, Sustain

Cheron Freeman,
2019 Conference
 Chair and President-Elect 2020

As you may be aware, our fall conference is coming up on October 17, 2019 in Okemos, MI (outside of Lansing). Since 2018, our board has been focused on transforming the ICF Michigan Chapter through partnerships. I am pleased to announce that our 2019 conference is a continuation of this theme simply titled Transformation Through Partnership: Connect, Build, Sustain.

Our partners include ICF Michigan members, employers, professional organizations, sponsors, and vendors. We believe that is is important to not only connect with partners, but also to build a solid relationship with them, and sustain the partnership so that we can continually grow and serve our community.

As the leader of this year's conference planning committee, I am committed to delivering you content that will transform your work and partnerships. My committee members Germaine Swanson, Susan Murphy, Jennifer Ostroff, and administrator Kathy Vlietstra have been working hard on delivering this goal. I appreciate them taking the time to make sure the conference will be a success.

And, there is more to come!

Our keynote speaker as well as breakout speakers for the conference will be announced soon. We are also working on our conference website which will have a list of our speakers and conference agenda.

If you are interested in helping with the conference either with planning or helping on the the day of the event, we would love to have you be a part of the team! Please contact us at conference@icfmichigan.org.

See you on October 17th!!
