Topic: "Mindfulness of Gremlins and Saboteurs" with guest speaker Dawn DeFrancesco, PhD, PCC

Everyone has a little voice in their head that likes to tell you what you should do, how you should respond to situations, or how you should feel. Whether you call that voice a gremlin, saboteur, or something else, this workshop is going to help you identify that voice and learn techniques for how to be more mindful of it. We will explore gremlins and saboteurs from two lenses: 1) the impact on how you embody a coaching mindset and 2) how you can support your clients to evoke awareness of their gremlin and saboteurs.

To be fully prepared for this workshop, please take the Saboteurs assessment ahead of time. It should only take a few minutes of your time.

Key Learning Outcomes for this workshop:

1. Identify common gremlin myths and strategies
2. Explain the positive impact of listening to your Sage vs your Saboteurs
3. Identify at least one technique to be more mindful of your gremlin/saboteurs
4. Embody a coaching mindset through awareness of your gremlin and saboteurs
5. Support clients in evoking awareness by identifying their gremlins and saboteurs

* Approved for .75 Core Competency and .25 Resource Development CCEUs*
