ICF Michigan is launching a scholarship program to support current or prospective ICF Michigan coaches enrolled in an International Coach Federation Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP) or Approved Coaching Specific Training Hours (ACSTH) program. The scholarship program is in alignment with our policy of giving back to the community we live and work in and supporting Michigan coaches.
The ICF Michigan Coaching Scholarship Program is designed to support and promote the highest standards of professional coaching in Michigan and serve our vibrant community where coaches learn, grow, and succeed to best serve our clients. In keeping with this, scholarships are offered to individuals who are studying to become a coach or continuing their coach education and who meet the following criteria:
- Current ICF Michigan member or prospective ICF Michigan member.
- Enrolled and studying in an ICF Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP) or Approved Coaching Specific Training Hours (ACSTH) program.
- Active participation as a volunteer in an ICF Michigan committee.
All applications are considered on a case by case basis. ICF Michigan offers four scholarships per year. We are accepting applications for 2015.

Scholarship: The ICF Michigan Coaching Scholarship provides scholarship assistance to existing ICF Michigan members in good standing or prospective members who are currently enrolled in an ICF Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP) or Approved Coaching Specific Training Hours (ACSTH) program. The scholarship funds can be designated toward coach training OR toward ICF-Michigan membership. Up to four scholarships are awarded annually.
Eligibility: Applicants must be currently enrolled in an ICF accredited coach-training program (ACTP or ACSTH). As a condition for receiving a scholarship existing members or prospective members who subsequently join ICF Michigan must agree to be an active volunteer on one of ICF Michigan’s committees. Applicants who do not receive a scholarship are eligible to re-apply. Only one scholarship will be awarded to each person who is approved.
Scholarship Application: The application form can be found by clicking on this link scholarship application form. Applications may be scanned or completed in MS Word and submitted via email to Vicki Hepler. Member Relations will review all applications and make a recommendation to the BOD to award approved, eligible candidates. Recipients will be notified by email. Applications will not be returned and all decisions are final.
