My current clients include association executives, Fortune 500 company managers, small business owners, and women in transition. I especially enjoy helping my clients expand their leadership capabilities. Prior to starting my business, I worked for the Michigan Chamber of Commerce where I relished transforming the Leadership Michigan program.

As a cross-cultural business coach and team-builder, Susanne works with clients to deal with unique cross-cultural challenges and with multi-cultural teams to find their common language. Susanne helps challenge global communication when challenged by it, think beyond borders, find similarities in the differences and simplify complexity.
Susanne herself was immersed in cultural diversity from early on: she grew up as a German child in Taiwan, going to an American school, speaking English, Chinese, German and later Spanish on a daily basis. Susanne earned her degree in Business Administration in Germany and worked in sales and marketing within corporate Germany for 15 years before moving to Michigan in 2010 where she completed her professional coach training.
Susanne founded TeamEssenz Coaching & Consulting LLC in 2012.
Susanne strongly believes in the value of the differences and the strength of diversity. The blends of different cultures and personalities make each person a unique individual. Susanne encourages her clients to feel the difference and turn them into an asset.
Throughout her career, Susanne has worked within cross-cultural teams and individuals all over the globe and has mastered many of her own transitions. She has a deep understanding of how the move to a new county is exciting for expatriates -or expats- and how these transitions can also pose challenges. Expats can attempt to fit in, but what does “fitting in” really mean and does one really have to?
With much energy, enthusiasm and “German drive” she enjoy challenging these questions with anyone who crosses cultures, enjoys change, loves diversity and dares to be different…

Kyle Dooley Kinder entered the healthcare arena over twenty years ago with an intense curiosity about organizational and individual behavior. Her journey has put her in many leadership positions including health planning, health system marketing, community relations, hospital customer service, and leadership development. For 17 years, she was a Vice President at the Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association in Phoenix. It was during her tenure there that her passion for developing leaders was ignited.
After two decades of observing and interacting with healthcare executives, Kyle has seen both effective and ineffective leadership and its impact on organizational culture and its workforce. Her conclusion is that the most successful leaders are those focused on achieving results (HEAD) through profound connections with people (HEART). While this may not be a unique leadership theory, she uses this framework in her consulting and coaching practice. She serves clients in the areas of leadership development, assessment, training, facilitation and coaching. Her business philosophy is to be there from launch to landing and all the bumps in between.
Kyle’s formal education was in Michigan where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University and a master’s degree in Education and Counseling/Psychology at Western Michigan University. She has received facilitation certification through Rana International and coach training through MentorCoach, an accredited training program recognized by the International Coaching Federation. She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the International Coaching Federation, the Professional Coaches Association of Michigan, and the Best Practices Institute. Kyle resides in Kalamazoo, Michigan where she is a board member for the Kalamazoo County chapter of CHADD (Children and Adults with AD/HD) and a member of Kalamazoo Public School’s Parent Advisory Committee.

Specialties: I also serve clients as a communications strategist, focusing in public relations, media relations and advertising. I consult clients in developing and implementing communication strategies including media relations and media training, writing, editing and publishing reports, newsletters and articles as well as crisis communications plans.
I am a Business and Life Coach who believes that great results are never achieved in isolation. The most successful people in life have had a ‘coach’ in their circle – someone who can challenge their beliefs and assumptions, support them in difficult situations and help them make better decisions.
I partner with business owners and leaders, their teams and employees to create lasting change within the organization. Having been a small business owner since 1990 and having mostly small business clients, I have an affinity for the entrepreneur and his or her vision.
I can assist with:
- Coaching the business owner/leader and staff through challenges and toward objectives
- Improving communications with staff and customers
- Strategic planning and visioning
- Needs Analysis
- Creating and implementing standards and processes
- Discovering possibilities within problems
All transformation comes from within yet that’s often the most difficult place to access on our own. Partnering with a coach can facilitate access to those hard-to-reach areas by creating an open and supportive space to explore, grow and eventually succeed. Life becomes fun again!
Past coaching clients have reported better confidence, clarity and purpose. Success stories include job promotions and raises, healed relationships, better outlook and sense of self-worth and a freedom to explore their life’s purpose.
I’m also a seasoned Law of Attraction instructor (Abraham-Hicks) and can include this foundation within the coaching for even faster and deeper results.
Each coaching relationship begins with a complementary Discovery/Strategy Session.
I am credentialed as an Associated Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation and have also trained in Mediation and Advanced Dispute Resolution.
